Yes, I am that much of a self-proclaimed geek.  I play World of Warcraft pretty much daily and have several characters (or "toons" to the WoW-speak inclined) on a few different servers.  But, my pride and joy is Dark Prophecy, the guild I run on the Horde side on the Greymane server as Amaza, the undead warrior.

Bank News:

We are now letting trustees get a limited amount of gold per day from the guild bank for repairs.  If you are a trustee and want to use this "perk", however, you are expected to donate 25G per week to the bank.  Any questions, ask Bettei!

On Run-Throughs:

Guilds are for helping.  NOT for doing the quests for you.  Do not expect runs of every instance by high level members.  If you are looking to be "power-levelled" or "twinked" you might want to look elsewhere.  Run-throughs teach bad habits and cause "lowbies" to never learn to play their own class or interact with a real group.  PLEASE do not ask for run-thoughs.  If you do, you will be shot down.

On Membership and Kicking:

Right now we're open to any level or class, but please be willing to help each other out! Trustees and advisors can invite, but officers can (and will) kick if need be.

Reasons for guild expulsion are:

• "Ninja-ing" (for example need rolling on BOP items in runs after the rest of the party greeds)
• Taking items from guild bank for auctions/sale
• Being openly rude/abusive to other members (do we even really have to explain this one?)
• Extreme language (no, we're not prudes but if an officer asks you to tone it down, please do it. After all, this game has all ages in it and we don't want a good player yanked out because a parent reads a horribly nasty guild chat)

If you have any questions or want to "appeal" if you've been kicked, please contact me and we'll work on a solution.

On Needing/Greeding:

In runs and on some quests, items will pop up for rolls.  If it is a BOP item, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO PASS then roll after discussion.  Even if you are the only person in the party who can use the item, PASS.  The item will still be given to you.  If you need roll it is considered "ninja'ing" and you will be subject to expusion (see above).  If you are a high level character on a low level run (this can still happen if a group of four needs a fifth, etc), you have no reason to greed roll on much of anything now do you?  Pass and let the people who can use it have it.

On Bank Loans:

If you feel that you are in some need of a loan, ask an officer.  Depending on your donating history and time in the guild, chances are good you will be given the money.  But, of course, please pay back in a reasonable amount of time.  You don't want to end up a "bane" lol. 

On Bank Donations:

Yes please everyone, you are expected to donate to the bank on a semi-regular basis.  No we don't want all of your gold and/or items but come on.  If you want to use stuff in the bank you have to donate.  Easy right?  As of now there are four tabs.  They are:

• "Low/Common" (in other words, low items, common items, guild tabards, etc)
• "Mats" (materials for professions, etc)
• "Gear Recipies" (gear and recipies pretty self explanatory really)
• "Rare" (blues and purples, quest items, and hard to find/expensive items.  This tab is officers only).

If you cannot get an item off of a tab, ASK AN OFFICER.  Chances are decent you can have it.  If an item is left in the bank for "too long" it will be DE'd or sold and the profits and/or mats put back into the bank.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the bank tab before putting an item in.  I spend half of my time rearranging because people don't take the two seconds to read the description on the tab.

And come on.  We're ALL saving for something.  That is no excuse for not helping out!

On Quitting:

If you find that the guild is not for you, no hard feelings.  However, expect me to follow up with you to see why you left and if we can work on a solution.

On Rank:

Advisors are the motley crew who do our best to keep everyone happy in the guild.  If you need anything, just ask!
